Publisher Team17 and developer BULKHEAD have officially launched WARDOGS into Steam Early Access, bringing a fresh take on large-scale tactical warfare to PC gamers. The multiplayer first-person shooter features up to 100 players battling across three competing factions in a fight for territorial dominance on a destructible battlefield.

Unlike traditional two-team military shooters, WARDOGS introduces a unique three-faction conflict system. Players join rival mercenary organizations and compete for control of randomized combat zones spread across a massive war-torn map. Success requires more than precise shooting; squads must coordinate logistics, resource management, and battlefield tactics to gain an advantage.

A central feature of the game is its in-game economy. Players earn and spend battlefield currency to purchase weapons, vehicles, and specialized equipment. Strategic financial decisions can significantly influence a team's effectiveness, creating a higher level of tactical depth than many traditional multiplayer shooters.

Developed using Unreal Engine 5, WARDOGS combines infantry combat, armored warfare, base construction, and environmental destruction into a single large-scale multiplayer experience.
